Cleaning Process
As a professional in-plant cleaning facility, every rug we receive is carefully evaluated before cleaning begins. From identifying fibers and testing dye stability to selecting the safest wash method, we tailor the process to the rug. Not the other way around.
Proper rug care starts long before the wash
1. INSPECTION
Every rug tells us something before cleaning begins
We inspect every rug for fiber type, dye stability, wear patterns, stains, pet contamination, and pre-existing damage before cleaning begins. This helps us choose the safest and most effective cleaning method for your specific rug .
2. RUG DUSTING
The dirt you cant see is often the most damaging
Before any washing begins, every rug needs to be properly dusted. Dry soil, grit, pet dander, and fine debris settle deep into the rug's foundation over time, where regular vacuuming can't fully reach. Removing that abrasive soil before washing helps protect fibers, improves cleaning results, and prevents turning dry debris into mud during the wash process.
3. RUG WASHING
No two rugs should be cleaned the same way
The safest cleaning method depends on your rug's fibers, dyes, construction, and condition. Some rugs require full immersion washing, while others benefit from lower-moisture or specialty cleaning methods. Our process is always tailored to what's safest for your specific rug.
4.URINE DECONTAMINATION
Pet odors need more than surface cleaning
Urine contamination can soak deep into rug's fibers, backing, and foundation. Which means deodorizing alone often isn't enough. Our decontamination process is designed to flush contamination at the source, helping eliminate odors rather than simply masking them.
5.RINSING
A truly clean rug should never be left with residiue
After washing. thorough rinsing helps flush away loosened soil, contaminants, and cleaning residue from deep within the rug. Residual detergents can attract more dirt over time and leave fibers feeling stiff or sticky. Some rugs require repeated flushing to ensure the rug is left truly clean, soft, and residue free.
6. DRYING
Proper drying protects your rug.
After washing, safe moisture removal is essential to protect fibers and prevent issues like odor retention, browning, mildew, or shrinkage. Depending on the rug's construction and fiber type, we may use our centrifuge, controlled drying racks , air movement, or gentle drying methos to ensure safe, thorough dry.
7. POST- CLEANING INSPECTION
The finishing details matter
Once dry, every rug goes through a final inspection. We check overall cleanliness, groom fibers and fringes, trim loose threads when needed, and prepare your rug for pick up and delivery looking refreshed and ready for home.
8.REPAIR
More than cleaning, restoration when you rug needs it.
Some rugs neeed more than a deep clean. From fringe repair ad edge binding to tufted backing repairs and minor structural correction, our team helps restore rugs that need extra care, helping extend their beauty, function, and lifespan.
