ABOUT US
We Didn't Start With Rugs
We Grew Into Them.

Our story began in 2008,

long before Rug Rehab & Spa had a name, a facility, or the specialized equipment we use today.

We were 17, expecting our son Sebastian, newly married, and living with family while trying to figure out what came next.
Jesus was working as a merchandiser for Coca-Cola when my dad, a real estate broker, suggested that we start a carpet cleaning business.

So we took our first tax return and bet it on ourselves.
Bello Express Carpet Care was born.

And if we're being completely transparent, we didn't know much about carpet cleaning when we started.
We learned by doing.

Year after year, we invested in better equipment, attended professional training, expanded our knowledge, and built our business one customer at a time. Along the way, area rugs kept finding their way into our work.

And rugs were different.
They challenged us.
Different fibers. Different dyes. Different construction methods. Different risks. A process that worked beautifully on one rug could be completely inappropriate for another.

The more we encountered them, the more we realized how much there was to learn.

Then 2020 Changed Everything.
When COVID arrived, the business we'd spent years building suddenly looked very different.
Instead of retreating during one of the most uncertain periods of our lives, we decided to take one of our biggest risks yet:

We opened a dedicated rug cleaning facility.

We went all in.

We invested in specialized equipment. We pursued advanced education and hands-on training. We studied fibers, dyes, construction, chemistry, contamination, spotting, washing, drying and restoration.

And what had once been one of the most challenging parts of our carpet-cleaning business became something we genuinely loved.

Today, Rug Rehab & Spa cares for everything from everyday family rugs to beautiful handmade and delicate textiles that require specialized handling.

But the part we're proudest of isn't the equipment in our facility or even the rugs we're trusted with.

It's where all of this started.
Two 17-year-old kids.
A baby on the way.
Our first tax return.
And absolutely no idea how far that first investment would take us.

Nearly two decades later, we're still learning, still improving, and still building it together.
